HOW MANY ARE NEEDED?
We now have committed to provide a total of ALMOST 300 CAPS per month for this year.
The demand is actually MUCH higher! All of the hospitals mentioned above would love to still be getting the toques,
but we give each hospital only a one year commitment, so we can 'share' the gift around.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
1. You can knit caps!
- It does not cost a great deal, you can use up scraps of yarn you have on hand,
(or the group has yarn you can access if needed).
- It does not take a lot of time (most knitters are able to easily produce one a day).
- There is no minimum or maximum # expected - pledge whatever you can.
2.You can donate yarn. (If you are not a knitter but would like to help, this is one way)
OR... This is becoming a dire need with the additional caps rolling in....
3.You can donate money or stamps to offset the cost of shipping toques to the various hospitals.
